I've always found them very interesting and beautiful...but I was wondering what their availability is? Are they easy to care like MOST rat snakes?
Just any basic info would be appreciated....pics would be a plus also!

they are very easy to care for, very hardy and tolerant of husbandry errors. they are also inexpensive and frequently available. like other obsoleta, they make great display animals if given some climbing space, since they are an active species. i find that yellow rats also tend to have a better attitude than say a texas rat.

Awesome! Yeah I have handled Texas Rats before and IDK if its the morph (Leucistic) or just the species but they are quite bitey. Thanks for the info! When I get a job...and head out to the next show I'll probably pick up a pair of these guys :)

boidsunlimited, color morphs such as leucism have nothing to do with an animals temperment.

Actually I have "read", that some Ball Morphs act different. Eat better, less shy etc. I have no clue about Rats though. Sorry for being a bit OT there.
Of course I could be mistaken, I just recall reading that somewhere here on the boards.
