ok my problem is that i like to give a daily varity but by the end of a 2 week period all my stuff has gone bad.. so more than 1/2 of my veggies greens and fruit are goin bad... i dont eat alot of fruit or veggies so i can "split it" with him and my beardie is only small so he doesnt eat alot of salad yet..

so my plan was to make salads with greens veggies and fruit mixed and freeze them in "personal size" portions.. that way i could just open one up and leave it for an hour to thaw out then his salad would be ready....

is this possible or am i waisting precious brain cells and am better off just waisting precious money.. thanks for any replies...

Freezing the veggies is not a problem at all so long as you make sure they are completely thawed before you feed. Its always a lot easier to make up big batches of veggies and not have to worry about making new stuff every day. I tried freezing for mine but I just go through so much at a time that its easier to make big batches twice a week and just leave the extras in the fridge in a rubbermaid.

One thing I find with freezing salads is that the greens turn to mush :( Most of my dragons with not eat them. But if your dragon will eat it, go for it :)

But I do freeze things such as squash, sweet potato, etc. Basically anything that is not a leafy green.
