I was thinking of getting some limestone basking rocks for my leo since I can get a whole bunch for free. But I've read that limestone has calcite in it which is a crystalline from of calcium corbonate
Now since leo's instinctively lick up calcium whenever they feel like they should or want to, could the limestone cause some kind of impaction on my leo if it starts to lick it, or would it be like it was just licking up calium fro the cal dish. I haven't put any of them in yet because I want to get a whole bunch of opinions in case someone has had a leo die because of the same thing I'm planning on doing. So far a few people have told me it's just another rock, disinfect it and throw it in there. But I want to 100% positive it won't hurt my leo.
Thanks everyone for your help in advance.
