Urgent Egg Help!

I've been incubating this egg and checked on it 5 minutes ago. I can see the body and colours, its been incubating since March 7th at around 81 degrees and 81% humidity. It's dimpled and you can see the baby. Is this normal or what should I do now?

ummm.... Not sure, dimples arent good, lack of humidity maybe? Someone with more experience with these problems needs to say something!

Perhaps the transparent colouring is the lack of calcium maybe but still I cant be sure im only guessing.

The eggs is still the same. I dont think the fetus is moving, I'll keep you guys updated.

The only thing I can think of is that the egg was under-calcified, but I supplement the gecko's diets with calcium and vit D3. I don't know if this changes anything, but she did lay them in her water dish, but luckily there wasnt too much in here, so I removed them and put them in the incubator. There were 2, and one died about 1 months ago (the egg). I was thinking about slitting thios one open but I'd like to hear some mroe opinions.

If it hasnt hatched out yet then it will probably never hatch. It looks fully developed on the outside but you really dont know what is going on inside the egg. Sometimes things like that just happen especially if there is big changes in temp over the incubating period. And 81 seems a little low for me i usually keep mine at about 88-89 for my geckos any other questions feel free to ask

Well I was incubating for female, and I read 80-84 is fine.
How much longer do you think I should wait to open the egg?

The transparentness of the egg if from not enough calcium being added to a gravid females diet.....

Dimples are fine..... It is normal for eggs to do this right before hatching.....

Also, you incubation temps are fine if you are looking to produce mostly females..... It will take longer for the egg to hatch at low temps...... At 81 degrees, it will take about two months to hatch.....

If you incubate your eggs at high temps like kferrari does, you will get mostly males and the incubation time is alot shorter....

I would, at this point, put a little cut in the egg and see if the neonate is alive or not...... The egg might be too "rubbery" for the neonate to be able to hatch by its self......

Use what gregg m said and try a little slit in the egg. I have done that once and within an hour the little fella popped right out. It is all up to you though. And i also didnt know you were trying to produce females so that is a good temp you used.Good luck and hopefuly it is alive!!!! Keep us informed.

I checked on the eggs this morning. It smelled REALLY bad and as you can see from the pictures it's browning, and collapsed a bit more.

slice it open and see what you find u never know but i think your to late
