buried in coconut?

I have a 2 year old female crested (alone) in an exo-terra 33gallon (rock background) . Substrate is the expandable eco-earth coconut husk. I've had her about 8 months, very active. Always in the plants/corkbark on the glass.

In the last week or so she has been burying herself in the substrate (with the nose out to breath). She hasn't done it before.

Is this normal. I have a feeling it is do to the rising temps/breeding season.

A two year old female burying herself in the substrate? Ah, the old egg hole testing routine. :)
Most of my girls do that for a few days to even two weeks before they lay their eggs. They seem to be checking the spot to see if it's suitable.
