Well, we *almost* weren't going to go to the St. Jacobs show... but I think after talking about it for a while, we have to. We missed the last PCPC show, and have to make up for it somehow!

I was hoping that someone would be at the show (DragnDrop, you're coming, right?) with some cresties. We thought the four we had would be enough, but I've got two 90% confirmed males, one 40% thought male and one unknown. :(

So.... I think we need more.

We're also in the market for a taiwan beauty snake... but he/she has got to be perfect... might take some time to find the right one.

I would love to be able to put the faces to the names... heck, anyone who wants to go for coffee after the show and discuss everything cresty... shoot me an email.

Looking forward to yet another wonderful show... nothing better that being surrounded by herps and herpers!

Well I'm new here, but I do know that I'm going to be a vendor at the show as well as Betty from the gecko brothel, as for your male issue that is unfortunate. The two prittiest holdbacks out of the 6 I had last year are showing male as well.

Hope to see u at the show.

I figured with four I would be ahead... we joked about having all four turn female, and having no male! :p

The good news is that the one I *think* MAY be male, is, after several days, not showing any swelling "under her skirt" so I'm hopeful. Two males and two females would be great.

Good to hear you'll be at the show. Will you have cresties there? Hmm... what else will you have? We have a *slight* herp addiction here, and we're expecting to come into a bit of extra $$ right before the show... we may be uncontrollable... :D

Looking for crested geckos and beauty snakes... maybe a satanic... or a gargoyle... or a leachianus.... or... etc., etc., etc.... ;)

I'll be there - can't miss out on a show just 15 minutes from home, can I? It's great to just have to drive the whole kit 'n' kaboodle a few miles instead of across southern Ontario, way easier on the critters I'm bringing. ;)

It's almost safe to be there won't be leachies at the show - I've only seen them once before at the PCPC show a few years ago. Leachies just don't seem to be in big supply to end up at shows. If there were some, I'd have gotten a male for my female already.

Stickytoedgecko: How many cresties are you bringing to sell? Any fires?

Don't get into specifics about how many/much and description in this forum, please. Discussion is okay, but too detailed with what you're bringing to sell goes in the classifieds. :)

I'll be there in spirit, lol

You should try to make it to the show, even if just to visit. It's a fun show. And as a treat, on the way home you can stop next door at Picard Peanuts - stock up on the best peanut brittle and ice cream you've had in a long time.

If you're not going to be there, I suppose you'll be waiting impatiently for us to post pictures of what followed us home? D'ya think it will keep you going until the next show you'll actually get to go to? ;)

* completely edited - not even a Rhac in the list and too much like an ad.

Like I asked earlier, let's keep it to discussion only. Listing species, quantities and other items you're bringing to sell at the show is not discussion, it's an ad.

Sorry for starting a post that seems to have made so much work for you Hilde! ;)

I was just hoping to get an idea of who and what was coming... although moreso WHO than what. :p

It'll be great to put faces to all these tag names... we can't wait!

I *think* it's ok to say though... that I'll be looking to get a crestie!! or two or three or four or heck let's make it an even dozen... :D If only we had more ROOM!

There's nothing wrong with the thread topic, just the listing of goods and geckos to be sold at the show is off limits.

I didn't want it to sound like an advertisment. But it did, and for that I'm sorry.

So we will see who has what at the show.

As I said hope to see you all there.

I'll second Hilde's suggestion for ice cream next door, it's the best part of the show. *S* If I end up behind my tables by myself, I'll be looking for someone to watch them while I run over for two scoops of Maple Walnut.....MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM.

hmmm... I don't normally eat ice cream (lactose sensitive and I don't eat a lot of sugars) but if it's as good as everyone says it is... :p

Especially if they have maple walnut... good call! ;) Although I suppose picard nuts WOULD make ice cream w/nuts... how about Pralines and cream?

As for the Rhacs, I'll be looking for anything Flame, dalmation with big spots, exceptional crests (hard to determine with juvies), or a harlequin if I can get my hands on one. Also looking for orange or olive coloured cresties.

We should be there when the door opens... :D We're so excited! We have a stag and doe for a good friend the night before... so if we're wearing shades and talking low, you know we had a good night! ;)

It's worth the agony and 'intestinal discomfort', believe me :)

I had that the first year, so I'm pretty sure they'll have it again. But the maple walnut is the best.

So you really weren't kidding about you and your husband looking like :medbugged and :med3eye: at the show.
