Hi, I am new to this forum so I wanted to try it out!
My Sydney is a 1 year old male beardie. He was eating well until about 2 months ago. He stopped eating and got "depressed". General consensus is that he went thro a late short brumation.
Now that he is "back" he still doesn't eat much and occasionally when he does eat he tosses it all back up about 5 minutes later.
Does anyone have any suggestions??
I am good with set up conditions....but have only read about parasites....and would love to hear if anyone else knows what could be the problem.
Thanks
R

The first thing i would do is get a fecal test done to rule out any parasites. You would want to take in a sample no older than 24 hours old.

Also what are your temps of the enclosure at?

His tank is 4ft x2ftx2 ft, His basking is about 105 and non basking goes down to room temp.
Have you used Panacur before??

Temperatures sound pretty decent, although the cool end should be a little warmer than room temp during the day, it should be around 80. If he is not eating properly, more than likely he is not pooing either so it may be difficult to get a fecal sample to the vet. I'd suggest giving him a warm bath to see if anything comes out and take it to your vet as soon as you can to get it tested for parasites or anything else.

Unless you have used Panacur or know someone that has used it, stay away as you could harm your little guy even more. When in doubt, take them to the vet, a little vet bill will save you from having to bury him.
