Most likely you are looking at CH for the babies and WC for the adults so as long as you are prepared for what that entails then sure. Also depends where you are. In pet stores in Canada I've never seen balls for under $200 for a hatchling. Prices are way different in the states.

Those are good prices, But I would ask if they are CB or WC?

The ball pythons are located in calgary at petland westhills and are from portcredit pets, The prices that nocturnal13 has said are right. All eating and doing fine

The most I have ever seen a normal ball python is 129 that was for a full grown one, When it is in season they are only $15-$40 depends on what pet store, but if they are a morph or het they are alot more

I paid RM800.00 for a pair of normal ball. (1 US$ = RM3.8)

I consider them cheap because pet store normally sell at higher price (RM550 and above for a baby normal). I bought from someone who operates his snake business from his home.

States prices are totally different. Even coming from PCPC I would assume with those prices they are CH or WC but if they are already eating and all that is good prices. I have never seen them in a pet store in Edmonton for under $250.00, and they are always sickly underfed little things in our pet stores.

I paid $100 for my ball at a show and he is 66% het pied. Was selling for 125 but he came down. I could have gotten one just considered normal for $80 at a pet store.

I got mine from a pet store in BC and it was $99. It took a while to start eating, but that might have been just as much my n00b husbandry as anything else. No problem with parasites, mites or anything else though, so it's been an awesome investment.

Of course, now I know that buying from breeders is a million times better, and my next purchase is definitely coming from a reputable breeder.
