Eastern milk snakes

I finally found a hot spot for these guys. We have found 6 so far this year. I kept the first male we found. He is around 26”. I have had him a little over a month. Collected 4 males since him, but none larger….so I released them back at the same location they came from. Finally found a female 2 days ago. She is gorgeous and over 34”. I put them together last night. They locked up immediately. I moved them to the side and feed my other non-vens. After about 20 minutes, I checked back on them and she was trying to eat him. Ha ha, I had to wrestler her off him. He was ok. I just put him back in with her now….but this time he resisted. Almost like the remembered. This time they are not paying any attention to each other. Breeding snake eaters is such a bite in the butt!!! =)

Feed them both tonight (live mice) The male, the longer captive, has already ate. The female has not paid attention to hers yet. Recon she is only interested in eating him. =)

These are my favourite milks. My first snake was a male eastern milk.
