What is the largest Savannah/Bosc monitor you have ever seen? I have seen 5'1" male; There does not seem to be a record size holder for this species??
For V. albigularis it is 7'3", but unauthenticated reports of them reaching 8-9 feet, and I believe them.
Thanks,

The 8-9 foot albigularis comes from an albigularis species found and measured in the Kalahari Desert in 1886 by A.G. Farini. Sooo, I guess you will have to #$%@ yourself now! I believe Farini's account...there is also reports of animals this size just south of Lake Chilwa, Malawi.
