I have a large male dragon about 1 1/2 years old, I just adopted him from someone who didnt want him and hes crazy!.
After having him in quarantine for awhile i put him in the cage with my female and hes even more nuts. When i put my hand anywhere in the cage he trys to eat me, jumping after my hand and hissing.I've been handling him every day but its a scene getting him out of the cage without being bit.
Any tips on how to tame this guy would be appreciated

I think it just needs time. Perhaps he was treated really badly by his previous owners or was never handled. Its gonna take time no matter what. Try moving him to another cage, he's probably gained a surge in need to be territorial by being with the female, probably the only "friend" hes ever had. Keep him in another big tank in a room where people will move around in often but be sure that everyone in the household agrees to this lol. I think he just needs to get used to people, he is seeing you as a threat, so move slowly dont aproach from above, come from eye level if possible.

If moving him into the females enclosure has made him worse, that is definitely something you do not want to do. Try offering him greens and handfeed some silkworms - with any luck he will calm down.
