you can give them quite avariety of foods (which is good for them) like chiken, liver, mine loves stewing beef chunks, fish that are not in the carp family, depending on size you can give insects to the smaller ones as well but whole foods still are the best for them (mice, rats, etc.) but theyll apreciate the variety.
I hope this helps

thanks for the info...... I just wanted to give them a bit of variety so they wouldn't have the same thing all the time. I'll give your suggestions a shot.... hopefully for christmas I'll get a digital camera or a scanner so I can post some pics.

Just checked them out and they are bigger than I previously said the spec is around two feet and the shneiders just a bit smaller. My shneiders doesn't seem to have the appetite that my spec has.

very nice!

My fave are teh Cuviers, and when i have enough dough I will own one lol

I had a spec. but decided to sell him while he still had value at his small size because i knew i could no care for a 6 foot caimen but I can defenetly care for an adult cuvies ..

It's gonna take up some room but I think I'll have no problem to house them when they are full grown. My entire basement is gonna be dedicated to housing my collection which I hope to add to in the near future. (I have the two caiman, two albino burms, and a common boa)
