I just right this minute noticed one of the crickets eating the sillicone inside the tanks corners, there seems to be a lot missing. Could this harm my gecko if he eats these crickets and should I get them out of there right now????

Thanks in advance for your help

its almost brand new... they're just chewing on it, you can even see little bite marks. And they seem to have eaten a lot of it, if I can get a pic up soon you'll get a better idea of it.

I hope they don't eat right through... even though there's still a lot of it left. But what if they all start doing that.

Dont use tape
tape + reptiles = problems

I think the ones that ate are dead already, plus I'm just starting out on a new fresh batch. But thanks for all the help people.

Maybe try offering the crickets food in your leo cage. If there is food present for the crickets to eat then maybe they will stop eating the silicone.

Whatever you do don't put tape inside the cage, if you do you will regret it when your leos get hurt.

I think i had crickets eating my silicone at one stage, after noticing the problem i just made sure i didnt leave any crickets running around in the tank.
