Hello,
I just thought I'd share some photos of my San Felipe Rosy Boa pair who have been busy breeding for the last few weeks.
http://home.cogeco.ca/~rbolton1/Folder/San%20Felipe%201.jpg
The male flicks his tongue incessantly around the female while he rubs his snout along her sides.

He continues to try and entice the female while making sure that their tails are aligned.

This is where the male utilizes his vestigial pelvic spurs (the bright orange thing) to persuade the female to copulate. I shot a video of it last night; it looks like the male is "walking" with these little vestigial limbs.

They are now copulating.

They remain like this for an hour so, after which I separate them to their respective enclosures (they get reintroduced every few days to ensure fertility).
Cheers,
Ryan M Bolton
