The pupils are closed because I took him out of his hide and put him on the log--in the direct sunlight! I'm sure he was blinded. I wasn't thinking. I didn't notice until I posted the pic. He'll get an extra fuzzy this week for his trouble!I guess it does show the color of the iris though.??
