getting a snake

Hey, great choice of snake. I would suggest a California Kingsnake because they have great personalities and you never have to worry about them taking a meal or not, they have even been known to eat themsleves. I have been around all sorts of pythons, boas, and other skinny snake, and i would say for a snake in this size range, a kingsnake can't be beat. kingsnakes are wonderful starter snakes, so much variety. cal kings are a great choice, as are some of the smaller getula ssp, such as the sonora blacks, or the less commonly available nitida. another really great, yet underrated king is the mole king. great kings, but not too many people are working with them.
