I dont know if anyone else seems to have this, or if its just my beardie, but, i think it seems to have made friends with its food.Literally.

Every time i offer him a locust, he takes it lightly in his jaws, turns around, spits it back out, looks at me, and gives me a telling off. I know its not that he doesnt like to eat them, he usually does, its just recently, hes only been eating veggies, crickets and occasionally mealworms. He only eats them if theres nothing else.Although its dangerous, he seems to just let them sit on his back and head, which is annoying, since we have to keep the locusts from eating at him.

Is he being friendly or something, or just changed his tastes in food? This is coming from a beardie who likes to play tarzan on his UV Light wires and pull em down, so..meh. Any ideas?

how old is he.. he may just be aquireing more of a taste for his veggies and just not eating insects as much.. but arent locusts vegitarians.. will they actually harm your dragon...

If he is starting to eat them then spitting them back out, that is a good sign that he does not them. Bearded dragons are attracted to anything colourful or anything that moves and might be potential food sources.

He definitely isn't being friendly.
