Best UV unit?

What do you use for UV? Flourescent vs compact/bulb?

I use 2 fixtures, 1 flo repti-sun 8.0 and 1 flo repti-sun 5.0. I let him chose where he wants to go. 8.0 bulb in the back of the tank and 5.0 bulb in the front.
