Grape Vine

Hey, Everyone
I had a question about rapping grape vine around doweling to create basking spots. Has anyone done this before?Is there any problems with doing this?

Can't think of any problems with, depending on the thickness of the dowel and whether or not it might be treated with anything.

Its not treated with any chemicals and I was gonna get some pretty thick stuff so he woudn't fall off
