Congrats on the hatching Coxi! They are really beautiful little snakes. My pair are too young for breeding, but I'm hopeful that I can see a clutch or two out of them in a few years. What were your incubation temps like and how long did they take to hatch? Also, did you brumate the adults?

Thanks,

@ Lolalophidia

The incubation temperature is 26,5 Celcius and it took them 58 days to hatch.
We did put our snakes in brumation for 7 weeks.

We have 5 more (coxi) eggs in the incubator and some on the way (two females, second clutch)

SBC, Thanks for the reply! That's a shorter brumation than I expected, but I'm happy to hear that it's enough to trigger fertile breeding. I've heard that coxi will double clutch also. If you don't mind me asking, what temps did you brumate them at? Since they typically prefer a lower temperature in general, I'm not sure if they need a lower brumation temp as well. I hope your next batch hatches out with no trouble.
Thanks again and good luck with your lovely snakes!

About the double clutch, a coxi female of a friend of ours even layed four!!!! clutches.
