I love Sulawesi retics. One of the best pattern out there, for sure.
Despite their growth fame, i don't think they can beat female mainlanders. But they can be more nasty...
Take care of those snakes.

Actually they can very well beat mainlanders, but i don't really want to argue, anyways thanks for the nice comments

Awesome snakes, when dealing with big snakes like these...what happens when you have to clean up after them? Do you move the entire snake or clean while it's in the enclosure?

Usaully move the entire snake, luckily my larger ones aren't aggro so I can usaully spot clean with them in it at times, but if they were aggressive like one 14ft sula I worked with, It could be devestating if you do not remove them and try to spot clean.

Well, i have kept just about all kinds of retics (except albinos) and the exceptional
big ones have always been either Thai or Malaysian locales ( i have 1 that is a combination of both, man, she's 14'5'' at less than 2 years).
Sulas are big too, just not up to those 2 others on average. It doesn't mean that ocasionally a very big sula can't come along. Old care-sheets (from the days when sulawesis were new to the hobby) even state them as the biggest locale. Nowadays, i guess very few argue that female mainlanders are simply the largest ones.
But i respect all points of view.:) In fact, the point here is that you do have some beautifull animals and i guess we all wish you luck with them.

Yeah,I understand how fast/large thais grow, I had an awesome male, but Sulawesis do grow larger and faster, but fine I'll leave it at that, I don't want to get in an argument, you got ur opinions I'll keep mine.

Can't all share the same opinions.;)
And experience can lead us in diferent ways since every animal is an individual and can respond to captivity in a diferent way.
Take care.:)
