HOW CAN YOU TELL IF YOUR CHINESE WATER DRAGON IS A GUY OR GIRL???????
My picture shows a female. The males have a broder head and many more spines down the back.

I have owned many of water dragons and i think they are a very cool species, i specifically like the australian water dragon it is my favourite lizard and would recommend that animal to anyone interested in dragons!!
Water Dragons are great but remember, they need ALOT of room. I have a pair myself and their enclosures are both 6 feet high by 4 ft. wide. I house them seperately because the male was running the female ragged and she was losing some of her color.
This is the male, notice the large crest on his head...

Here they are together, I housed them together for 2 months or so.

Dragons are really very pretty animals. I just love the green.
Take care,

Do you think its ok for my chinese water dragon "HOPPER" to be on a leash when i take him out of his cage, or when I go somewhere????????????????????????????????????????? He tends to jump all over the place. Thats why I named it hopper.
i plan to take my water dragon out on a leash this summer so he can get natural sun and heat. i don't see why not as long as the leash isn't that tight.
