you dont keep the vehicle...
and i believe its the base model.. if you want the upgrade you gotta pay the taxes...

its super small print they leave out that you dont see..
i know 2 ppl last year that won the aztecs and were pissed about that

same thing with a boys for toys thing here... guy won the 2005 mustang.. pissed to find out its a year lease..

It's totally a scam.. My boyfriend and I get Tim's at least once a day.. and I've never won a thing, he's won a donut or coffee.. There's always a catch to winning something big.. just like Crucified said.

I guy a work with won a Plasma screen, and the thing the got me mad is he dosent like tims coffee. But we stoped for gas and thats what he wins. I have won Donuts and coffees thats all.

I've won a coffee, a cookie and a muffin. One of the envoys was won here in Edmonton there was a sign up in one of my usual stops, sucks if it is just a lease though, what a rip off, I'd take the $1000.00 cash though!! LOL. I hear ya though, I go through way to many timmies to never win anything decent grrrr.

Yeah, me too. It seems that the first and second year that "Chew up the rim to lose" was around, I was winning a coffee, muffin or donut almost every second cup. This year and last, my fiance and I have averaged over 100 trips to Tim's each "season" with one measly win (donut).

in the past, it was just a lease you got. Apparently many ppl complained about that and it was changed for this year. So i guess this just past RUTRTW and all future you will actually keep the vehicle.

And as far as Tims goes I don't see the big deal about it. Why is it so popular? It's like starbucks in america.
The coffee is the only decent thing they have at tims, and its not even that great.
I just don't see why there is a line up out the door and around the corner at tims. But a real coffee shop with actual good coffee gets run out of business.

I only get their steeped tea, I find the coffee is usually cold!! I like their donuts better than any other donut place anyway.

i knew someone that won the vehicle one of the times they did this promotion. but nothing this year just handfulls of free donuts and muffins

We go there all the time. It is right by Julie's work and we won three donuts and a muffin in a couple of months.

Most give aways are a scam to get you to buy something. Look at the price is Right they have warehouses of unclaimed goods. In the states you have to pay taxes on everything you win. Do you think some college student can pay the taxes on a thirty thousand dollar show case show down? SCAM.
