My BP has just shed for the third time since she started fasting (last meal 200 days ago). I'm guessing that this is just related to getting fresh skin versus growing - am I right? This shed is only a month since her last one though, while there was quite a gap between sheds 1-2, so I'm curious.
This is the only BP I've ever had (really more into corn snakes) and she is a difficult eater - even for BPs. This is the third year I've had her. Her first year she fasted from Oct-Jun, the second year she did a little better, eating a couple of isolated meals during her fast but the last time she ate this year was Sept 16th. I've offered food about once a month, including last weekend but she is simply not interested. She's active, drinking and eliminating, so I'm not that concerned about her, and just figure she'll eat when she's ready - and it might not be until June.
