Hi all,

I am a PhD student at UC Davis working on the evolution of vision in vertebrates (main focus on reptiles). The ultimate goal of the project is to reconstruct visual capacities of fossil vertebrates such as dinosaurs.

I intend to produce MRI and CT scans of the skull of reptiles, in order to faithfully record 3D shape and detailed morphology of the eye and the sclerotic ring.

Therefore, I need quite a substantial number of reptile specimens. In the (hopefully) rare case that you have any dead animal, I would highly appreciate if I could obtain the specimen. I would arrange for transportation and would cover all costs, of course. Please contact me for further information!

Thank you for your time and help!
Cheers, Lars
