High Contrast albino vs normal albino

high contast I think is the better looking of the two. I've always wondered though if the high contrast is genetic or not.

no, they're not genetic to the best of my knowledge. From the albinos I've owned, they all start out as "high contrast" and fade over time, much like the axanthic. Good marketing though.

Well my male is coming up on three and he is as pretty and hi contrast as the day I got him. My female has gotten some yellowing in the white but still is quite nice.
I think the higher contrast is more to do with line breeding and good luck than a seperate genetic albino morph.
Either way you can't go wrong with an albino bp.
