Hi--I'm new at this site. I live in Sacramento and I need a snake! Quick! The building that I work in has mice and ...yuck...3 inch cockroaches! What kind of snake would be the best for eradication of this problem. I would need to keep the snake in a cage due to the "freakout" my coworkers would trip on. Thanks.

You're not going to get a snake to eat cockroaches.

Dirty mice? Letting a snake free roam around a building? Gross.

Call an exterminator... probably cheaper and a hell of a lot less CRUEL.

feeding snakes wild caught mice and rats is not recommended because they carry parasite and disease that could be detrimental to the well being of the snake

Okay! I had no idea! Don't bite my head off...I was only curious. We do have an exterminator, evidently, it's not enough. Thank you Montie420 for being polite with your answer. I guess I will have to use the "bay leaf" method for the roaches. Thanks again-I'm outta here!
