How do they grow? Newbie??

Hi everyone. I registered quite a while ago, but have mostly lurked around.

Any way, I've got a female year &1/2 old BRB named Sydney. It seems to fit.:D
She's about 5' now and seems to eat well enough. So my question is; how big will she get? Probably less than 6'? She's still kind of slender and I've seen some pics of other's BRBs that seem to be a bit thicker. Will she stop growing at a point or will she get thicker as time goes on?

Umm.... and how long should she live?

I have a 7-footer, 3 6-footers, and about 10 5.5 footers. Average is about 5.5 - 6 feet.

Snakes grow until the day they die. Pretty much all reptiles do.

I know that all animals have characteristics. And, I'd read that females generally don't grow more than 6'. So I was wondering if they slow down growing long and start getting thicker or if they keep the 'slender' look and keep growing longer.
They aren't really going to get to Anaconda size.:)

Female Rainbows seem to grow bigger than the males, so they most certainly grow larger than 6 feet. Tough to say. I have BIG males, but small females and vice versa. Not much studying is done on these things. Heck, most breeders know more than the scientists studying them!

They always stay slender by boa standards. That's why their other common name is "the slender boas".

What we need is more is a melding of breeders and scientists, that being people who enjoy the animals and the curiosity of the species for science. Good info Jeff :)
