I built a cage to fit in a bay window. It was 6 feet across the back, 12 feet across the front, 4 feet wide and 3 feet tall.

Joel how big is your monitor? Where will the cage be located? What’s your budget? Is using natural materials (dirt, leaf, branches) a problem?
Correlated plastic cheats are one of my favourite materials to built monitor cages, they are cheep, insulated, easy to cut, many colors, light, easy to wash. You can make a simple 2x2 frame and screw plastic panels in a matter of minutes, to any size you need.
Use your imagination in the design, it will last you longer then any ply wood or melamine box. It will also retain heat and humidity much better provided you don’t over do it with the venting. I prefer raising babies in 40-55 gal but an adult sav needs 6x3x3 well designed and furnished is better then a much larger cages that don’t provide the right environment.

try to make it a part of something in your house like the bay window ONe above or a dresser or entertainment center. it will save room
