Has anyone gotten lucky in the search for herps in ontario yet? Is anyone even trying yet, or is it just too early still?

I've already found 3 Garter Snakes and heard W. Chorus Frogs calling. My father found some Jefferson Salamanders the other day as well as a Red-spotted Newt.
