Hey everyone I can't wait to get out herping this year and I was wondering where everyone in the Calgary, Alberta area goes to get their fill. I know that it is much too cold for them to be coming out yet but I want to be prepared, lol. I live in Okotoks and if you know any areas near there, or in Calgary, I would love to know about them.

Thanks

Josh

Drumheller is awsome, black widows, lots of scorps, rattle snakes, and probably tons more.

When do you expect to start seeing the snakes up and about?

I want to find some Bullsnakes this year, where is the best place to find them in Albeta? I am in calgary, and all we get here is lots and lots of Garder Snakes.

Anywhere in S.E. Alberta is good Herp terrain. Areas such as Drumheller & Medicine Hat are good. Any of the AB recreational areas in the S.E. corner are good too, such as Writing On Stone etc. Mark
P.s. areas around the Sheep & Highwood Rivers should be good for garters etc too. They are just South of Calgary & the Sheep runs thru Okotoks.

I have been to drumheller before, but didn't know where to look. Any suggestions on where to look?? Also, does anyone want to know where I can go in Fish Creek or North Glemore Park to find Garder Snakes??
