hog nose

i own 2 snakes so far,jalisco milk and cal king,what can i expect from hoggs? size,attitude,keeping just the basics,lookin to get a 3rd snake, just dont tell the wife he he.i'm open for suggestions on ur fav snakes.thanks

well my fave snake IS the hognose (as in western hognose). Awesome attitude (well thats what I think anyways), he likes to strike and play cobra, only once has he played dead.

Size, males about 2ft females about 3ft, but of course size varries from snake to snake.

I keep mine in a 10g tank, aspen shavings, lamp dimmer controlled UTH set at about 80-85 hot side and the cool side about 70-75. fed once a week on F/T mice (NOW, he was a PITA and would only eat live for a long time)
