I don't have dollar bill. We use coins up here! (Loonie - in more ways than one).

Ever notice that when someone posts a pic of a snake next to a bill for comparison, it's usually a 50 or 100, never a 5 or 10.

Hey, anything under a $5 is a coin here. And from what they are talking they want to turn $5 into coins too. Talk about burning holes in pockets, just the weight is putting holes in pockets!!

I was quite interested in what the biggest ball on the forum was. So maybe you could actually post some pics if you have a ball of over 5'. Or perhaps even 4.5'.

my biggest is 900 grams full, hardly the monster I think you are looking for. Hope in a few years she's looking huge though, I'd love a 4000+ gramer.

Lagoon,

Maybe the picture is too big, so I swapped to a smaller picture.

Here is a moderately big girl not too long before she laid 8 eggs. Can you imagine how big the ones that are pushing 20 eggs are?

The advantage of not having updated my web page in so long is that I can go back and get stats on long ago sold girls like this one:

"She weighed 2140 grams AFTER laying. I was in a hurry to get the eggs in the incubator so didn't weigh them until the next day (may have soaked up some water) but it looks like 940 grams for the clutch."

They apparently get a lot bigger but most captive ball pythons aren't very old. I'm guessing she was about 5 in that picture. I think most of the ones that lay the really big clutches are at least twice that old and of course well fed and with the genetics to grow big.

Has anyone here used the Serpwidget Snake Measurer application to determine the length of a snake? Is it easy to use? Accurate?

Also, does anyone know why I can't see the date or time that any post has been made when I'm logged in? But if I log out, these re-appear.

Thanks
