OK... I had nt found much info on them, but I have sufficient info to keep them... Maybe I can be the first one to write the first in-depth caresheet... Going to go get one, and a 16-20 gallon tank with stand (not sure exactly how big it is... I was told 16-20 gals) for only $70, not sure if there was tax or not... Be back in 3 hours with info on my little guy!

Yeah, I was assured it was male. I got it and a HUGE stand (like 5 1/2 ft tall, with cuppords/shelves inside) for only $90 (no tax!).
He is like 6cm long (very small...).
He is calm as he77, and loves sittin on my arm/exploring my arm, in one of her low-boy turtle tanks, about 15-20 gals for only $40 with huge stand and lid (I think the stands would sell for about $125 normally... expensive, I'm sure), covered with coconut substrate, he is a beautiful reddy-black, like a hisser (sorta) He is wierd for a whiptail. He is running laps around his terra cotta pot...
The bug zoo is going to have twice as much space as before, it is gonna be HUGE, lotsa new stuff, too... I think teh turtle tanks would be perfect for leos, since they don't climb... the floor space is about 1' by 2 1/2' and 8" high...
Totally worth it!
