hi all im gettin my first blood in may and i wanna know to achieve a 50-60% humidity average how many times a day do i spray?:confused:

In my experience, 50-60% is inadequate for bloods. At this humidity level, they will be in their water dish all the time. You need it up around 80%. We can't tell you how many times a day to spray, because we don't know. Nobody can answer that. Buy a hygrometer, and spray when it gets too low.

Hey,
It's not a matter of how much to spray, but how well you set up your cage, including your choice of substrate and how much ventilation and of course, your choice of cage its self. Glass aquarium vs. Rubber maid tub or other. Whether heated from the top using an over head heat panel or flex watt, or other heating device. The list of variables is endless, but with some idea of your set up type you can pretty much narrow down the relative humidity you'll have if you get the right kind of equipment from the start.

Just a note...I keep mine @ 60% normally, bump up to 70%-ish for sheds & they all do great.

Some people have problems with 65%+ Humidity, and some have problems with below 90% humidity. It can vary quite abit.
