Hi i want to everything i can about ETB i have wanted one since i frist started getting into snakes i think they are they best looking snakes ever but i have look at care sheets and other info about them but i like to learn from the people that own them since they have frist hand exp
I would hope that most caresheets would be written by experienced keepers. If you have specific questions though, fire away! I'm sure several folks here will be able to answer them.

This is a great Link (http://www.corallus.com/literature-online.html). Has lots of great information. Hope this helps:D
yea that site was the best ive seen so far but another thing i want to know is likw with most snakes you can leave a f/t rat in the cage for them to eat can the same be done with etb's to make them a little more handelable
i have made up my mind anyway i am going to get one as soon as i can
Although someone may come along and say they have left an f/t on the bottom of the cage, which their ETB has then eaten, I will venture to say no they won't eat it. Emeralds, seem to respond more to radient heat from prey as adults, getting away from "movement" being the attraction as neos. A food item, left on the substrate that is not moving will probably not be very attractive.
However, feeding really has nothing to do with handling. Everyone has their own definition of handling and in general emeralds don't like to be handled. My definition is that I am able to work in the cage, while the snake is sleeping without fear of getting bitten. When I remove the snake, on its perch, to take it outside for exercise, I don't have to worry about getting bitten. Depending on the individual, I can carry them back into the house and place them back in the cage "free hand" without getting bitten. When it is dark, there is no way I will put body parts inside the cage or when the animal has to be restrained for any reason I trust none of them.

Both snakes are better off as display snakes, they're not exactly a snake you take around with you, like a corn or a ball.
