Went with my sons to check a few spots today. Weather was not as nice as it was supposed to be but we found a few critters anyway.
S.E 5-lined skinks, ground skinks, eastern fence lizards, green anoles, green tree frogs, southern ringneck snakes, and this very large E. coral snake.
We estimated its length at over 30" since its 30 yellow bands are each at least 1" apart. A beauty of a snake.

I really know of only a few parks near Orlando that might be good. (Weekiva Spgs. State Park is one.) But you'll be very near a lot of good herping spots I would think. Depending on location and transportation etc., the Ocala Nat'l Forest is nearby as well as a few other State Parks. When you get down this way, contact me
