When every spare nook and cranny is filled with cages and herps where does one put one's Christmas tree...and with all my worry about fires from the plugs from cages why would I want to add one more worry!!
I was thinking maybe we could hang it from the ceiling....any other suggestions....I may just go without this year.
Also I hate to be a scrouge but my power bill doesnt need a whole string of lights added to it....my neighbor put up lights across the street so I already get that warm feeling seeing all the twinkly colors outside my window....actually I have a better view of hers than I ever would of mine! LOL
Get one of those small ones (fake or real) and put it in one of your large enclosures. Depending on what you keep in the enclosure your presents will be safe.
get a pic of one and put it on your computer desktop, no added power, doesnt take up space, and its real easy to put away for next year :)

to add to that kathy, you can just print a pic of one off and hang it on the wall, then it will be possible to put presents under the tree!!! lol, have fun trying to find a way!!
only place we have room for one is inside the burmese tank, don't have to worry about people snooping the presants... cept katey.

The christmas light with the very small bulbs don't use much electricity at all. Just get a little tree and a string of those to get in the spirit!

The last couple of years I've just been buying one of those cute little 3-4' trees to have -- although I honestly don't know where I would have put it this year -- I acquired like half a dozen more tanks since then -- LOL :)
Good luck -- it's just not the same without a tree, even if you end up buying a little miniature fake one or something :)
I'm thinking of buying one of those rosemary topiaries shaped like a Christmas tree and putting it in the iglet's enclosure. It won't be decorated, of course, but what is more decorative than a bright green iguana?
It will be pretty, smell good, and give Amazon lots of climbing adventures while giving me less of a Scrooge feeling. I like the lights shaped like a tree as well for putting in a window and might do that too.

I saw a 2' tree in wal-mart... It was only $9.97! lol, I like small ones, not big ones, because the big ones are HELL to put away for the next year.
"I dont care if this is the box it came in, IT DOESN"T FRIGGEN FIT!" said by Dan Conner about forty times every christmas... Just give a little extra room, if any of you work at christmas tree box factories, listen, GIVE US A LITTLE MORE SPACE TO PUT A TREE IN! lol...
Just put the tree over your new banana blizzard bearded dragon's cage... oops, there goes the secret...

we get our (real) xmas tree's for free, but probably won't have one this year due to location
