Hey all

Well as some of you may know my one female is pregnate. But it has been about 3 or 4 weeks now since i felt the eggs and she still hasnt laid them. Which is unfortunate but that is besides the point. What kind of incubater do i need for crestie eggs? I am guessing i need to have high humidity but i dont knwo how high so if you of you knwo numbers that would be good. So any pointers on how to buold a good incubater would be helpful. I want to use a 5 gallon tank for the eggs if that would be fine? Anyways any advice would be helpful.

Thanks a bunch

Jon

I've got 3 clutchs of my first Crested eggs on the go right now. I'm going with the incubate at room temp. method.
The temps have been fluctuating between 71 - 77. For Crested eggs you don't want the temps to get higher than 81-82.
So with a temp range like that you really don't even need a bator for them, but you can choose too if you want:)
To make your own bator just do a search on this site, there's some good posts and tips how to...
Hope this helps, I'm expecting my 1st to hatch in 2 weeks or so!
Best of luck:)

Kim - I use the one in the Navagation panel on the Home page, it's in the top left corner.
Just hit the Site Features bar at the bottom on go from there:)
