starting a ferret rescue

i would like to start a ferret rescue in the near future. i was wondering if any one knew if i had to get some sort of license or permit to do so. i doubt i will but i need to know so nothing bad will happen.

You would need something if your state has laws about the number of animals allowed in a household. Plus if your going to ask for donations of money you might need to be registered. Depends on your state laws.
