I wish to address one point that Jeff just made. I have no desire to enter the mudslinging contest regarding who did what to what website. I couldn't care less about these websites. The fact is, MOST herpers still don't care about these sites! Jeff, you are simply incorrect taking credit for the attendance at the Ontario Reptile Expos. Sure, there was a media outlet for the Expo to advertise on in this site, but there were a great deal of attendees and vendors who never came on here. In fact there are still lots of herpers who don't own a computer.

evolution of your reptile expo from 300 to thousands of people that attend your show cam from this site

This sounds like you basically take credit for the herp scene in this part of the world! First of all. I assure you, there were 1000's of people attending the expos BEFORE the onset of this site. Second, PLEASE keep in mind that without Grant Crossman and a few other key people, the herp scene in Ontario would not have existed past 1998. Grant is responsible for those expos - no one except him, his employees, his family, and his closest friends. Grant has been on the scene for a long time. No one can touch his dedication to this hobby/pastime/avocation/business!! He has a HUGE vested interest in it! And finally, as you may have guessed you are not the only one to stand up for Grant Crossman, as we have been friends for more than 15 years, and we will remain so for years to come.

With all due respect, Jeff & Laurynn, please keep your heads straight during this ordeal. I understand that you must be going through a really tough time personally. One that I know Grant is sympathetic to, but not responsible for.

Take care...
Respectfully,
Steve

Steve, I am not saying I am solely responsible for the numbers although I am saying I had a ton of people who were attending those shows since day 1, come up to me and tell me what a HUGE differance the website has made in the numbers of people who attend. I dont want recognition nor do I care to be recognized my beef was said in the other thread. I am in the same boat as you as I dont even care to be a part of the reptile scene anymore period.

Also Steve please understand this is not a difficult time for me... I dont even consider this to be a problem for me. If you guys think I am even slightly upset of disgruntled by this your wrong. Live and learn... ;)

Take Care.

And to anyone who has anything to say to me good or bad please dont use the forum anymore as I truly would like to be finished with it altogether.

Thanks for understanding.

Jeff
