I thought The Ring wasn't bad, it wasn't great either. I will watch number two though. In the Ring, if something like that ever happened in today's time they've gotta make it a DVD because 'nobody' watches VHS anymore heh...

Yea i remember everyone saying it was the scariest movie they ever saw when it first came out, i found it an ok movie but defintely not the scariest movie ever made LOL far from it, it was more a thriller then creepy i thought..i could name off tons of movies that are more "scary"..and the grudge was to me the dumbest movie ever made! you could tell it was by the same producer with almost all the same special effects...lots of ppl loved it though but i dont see what was so good about it...

I saw the Ring 2 last night, it wasn't too bad for a sequel, I'm glad that the chick finally swears at the little girl, that confused me in the first one. If I was getting haunted by that little witch I would be cursing her little ears off dressed up like Rambo lol. It is definately worth seeing though if you were a fan of the first.

I think when people make these movies they think of how scary it would be if people stepped out of themselves and into the movie. Sure to us knowing its fake it's more of a riot than anything, but for a second I just like to imagine if something like that happened to me. I'd be hoping that I brought my depends :)

i really liked the ring, i thought it was REALLY scarey the first few times i watched it. now when i watch it i dont get scared but i still think its good. i'm going to see the 2nd one sometime in the near future.

Empathy people, the ability to put yourself in some one elses place emotionally. If you don't have it your probably not going to like movies like The Ring, The Grudge, etc. That is what makes them scary placing your self in the situation mentally.

Apparently, Ring 2 is suppose to be better than The Ring, and that fact is helped by the fact that it will be directed by the director of Ringu so it will not be another horrible American horror movie.
I doubt I will see it in theatres though. I have no plans to use my meager student loan on things I don't need and, well, going to horror movies alone is not as fun.

Yea its really expensive just to go to the movies now, its a once in awhile outing lol id rather just stay home on the couch and rent them lol and no its not fun to go to any movie alone..i woudlnt do it

Saw the Ring 2, I'd say rent it or see it in a dollar theater....it wasn't horrible, wasn't great. Loved the first one, tho :D

I liked it. It was a good sequal. The thing about horror movies is you can't please everyone. People are scared by different things. You go to a horror movie wanting to be scared. You go see anyother movie wanting to see a good movie. The cinematography in Ring 2 was great and you could definately see a Japanese influance. But when I see a movie I look for all kinds of things like camera angles, lighting etc. i am a movie nut! :D

ok i saw it....i had a feeling already it wouldn't be that good because sequals are never as good as the first. very true for this. i'm not saying it was bad! just no where near the ring 1, no where. had some very scarey parts and i was worried it would end bad but it didn't. we though ot some better endings but they may have made alot of people angry so oh well. its worth seeing if you really liked the ring.

Yea the older horrors are still the best, not as good graphics..but horror isnt about the special effects as much. i dont find blood and guts scary lol but the newer scary movies nowadays are no way near the classics
