i was wondering if a 75 gal tank(4 feet long ,1 1/2 wide and two feet tall) would be big enough for a full grown carpet python

Depends on the type carpet. Some get to 13 feet long. I don't think they'd enjoy life in your aquarium.

Yeah, that's not bad. Aquariums are not the greatest (wooooaa not by a longshot), but that size will do for a moderately-sized adult IJ.
Those measurements are for a 90 gallon. I just gave you 15 free gallons!
Glad to be of service. ;)

hey.i was wondering.would it be cheaper to make a tank for my ball python or buy one.and how big to make.
Don't look at just "whats cheaper" ballpythonboy....look at whats cost effective as well snake effective. Everyone likes to save a buck but you MUST balance that with the snakes natural/true needs and requirements.
A rubbermaid container is very suitable housing, AND affordable. It provides a variety of sizes, and they are easy to clean as well as replace.
You simple drill some air holes, buy yourself a thermastat and under the tank heating pad, and VOILA! Basically you have set up a ball python home, with some tinkering of course.
