Sweet, your set up looks great. Was that the crazy retic?
I agree, nice set up. What's the length on her?

No she was not the "crazy" retic. She did need some working with though. She was never handled too much by her previous owner. She is around 5 or 6 years old( WC so hard to tell exactly) and is 13 to 14 feet long. She has really slowed down growing lately and is now starting to put on weight. She should not get too much longer, as she is a Selayar, and they are a medium sized retic.
Very nice manshe sure is sweet.
That retic could not have found a better home then your's very nice & tame keep working with those giants.

Thank you for the kind words Shawn! Giant snakes RULE!!!
I feed all of my snakes that are 8 feet and over, f/t rabbits.
No she has never tried to bite, but she was a nervous snake when I got her. No problem, just takes patience.
How'd that bateater project of your ever turn out?

Still have my fingers crossed. They locked up at least 3 times a week for a month or so.(Every time I re introduced the male). Lately they have no interest in each other. I think she ovulated around 3 weeks ago. Hard to tell if she is getting larger or not, your mind plays tricks on you! Will update when I know more.

Are there any special months to get those snakes together or they could go at it at any given time of the year?
I ask because retics and burms have their specific breeding periods in the wild. Don't know how it works in captivity.
