Little Red Ridinghood in her dull daytime pyjamas and her night-time painted woman look. If you saw her during the day, you'd probably not even look at her twice. If you know your cresties and the colour change they're capable of, you'd look past the blah colour and realize that she could really paint the town red at night.
(She lost her tail about 18 months ago when her hubby pulled on it).

The change in colour and even pattern that cresties can produce are amazing.

Awesome little girl! The colour and pattern change in my gargoyles is pretty neat too! Some nights it's like I've got a totally new gecko!:)

It looks like you got out your paint set and painted her red :D.
Very neat colour change on her, Hilde.

Thanks everyone :)
She really is a surprise when you see her at night. I wouldn't have looked at her twice during the day if she were for sale. That's the fun part of cresties - you never know what you'll get even though you're looking at them in your hand.
She was my first hatchling, so she came along before I learned how to 'read' their colours properly. I thought she'd end up kind of dull looking, so I sold her clutchmate, and only kept her because she was the first crestie baby. Turns out her clutchmate is female too and looks just like her.
UGH. Talk about regretting a sale! ;)

You'll hatch out better ones! At least that's how I feel about all my regrets. It keeps me from going insane, lol

What a day/night change in cresties. Have you ever went to show "off" your crestie and out comes this drab, dull sleepy one? It happens to us all.
As far as selling those gems, I still remember buying this little awesome fire from you and now, I can only think "I bet she really wishes she had Oreo back." :w
He was awesome then and more awesome now................. thanks Hilde.
