How long does it take a beardie thats about 2-3 inches long to reach full size? Can he be house in a 10 gallon tank at that sized?

it takes depends on alot of factors of how long it takes to reach full size, id say roughly 1-2 years, please correct me if im wrong, there are growth charts out there on the net somewhere for average beardie growth if you can find one. and yes a beardie 2-3 inches long should be housed in a 10 gallon. when he gets bigger the tank has to get bigger, i use a 175 gallon tank for 2 adults.

they reach full size in about a year like Hunter said, but they grow very quickly when young. it will jump from 3 to 10inches in about 3-4 months if fed properly. and reach about 12-16inches in roughly 6-8months.

There are a couple size charts on the net if you look around.

a beardie that size will outgrow a 10gl tank in 3-4 weeks(MAX), you'd be better to save your money and get a larger tank to start. If you can, buy a large tank and put a divider up so it doesn't get streesed out by the large tank. It also helps with feeding, young beardie's tend to loose food if it's not infront of their face.

i use a 4X4X6 for 2 almost full grown beardies... i do not obviously plan on upgrading them to a bigger tank as thisone provides much more than adequate space.

Iheard it wasnt good to keep to beardies together even if they are male and female. Males want to make mabies 24/7

thats true, male an a female together isnt a good thing to do. The male wants to mate all the time, which stresses out the female. This can lead to her death. 2 males together wont work neither. Maybe when young ones it will, but once they grow up, they will fight and this can also lead to death to one or both of the males. If you want to keep beardies together, then the best thing to do is keep 2 females together. This doesnt mean it goes right all the time. There have been people who kept 2 females together and still ended up putting them in seperate enclosures.
You can also put 2 females and 1 male together, but your tank has to be pretty big then
