I own two large tree frogs, a white lipped and a milk frog(salt and pepper frog) i was wondering what lizard all you experienced keepers would reccomend to keep with them, i was thinking a jamaican anole, horned dragon or a curly tail. Frogs are aggresive and can hold there own. It's 44 gallon aboreal tank, humid, moving water lots of branches and hiding spots. I don't really like the regular anoles, house gecko's or grass lizards and recomendations would be greatly appreciated.

none.. any herps that are from different parts of the world should not be kept together.. they all have different requirements as well as forighn pathogines.. adding a lizard to your tank may kill your frogs and not bcause of agression but because of desiese

I would not recommend any lizard for this tank as it is generally accepted that mixing species is not a good idea, let alone mixing lizards with amphibians. If you enjoy the frogs, I suggest going with another white lipped and just enjoy a micro-environment that is in balance without upsetting it with a lizard. Of course, this is only my two cents, so take it as you will.

Your tanks sounds great though!

Best of luck,
Adam

hey sorry i just realised i sounded rude.. didnt mean to be.. but for the safety of your frogs its really not recomended.. you could always setup another tank for some lizards

You could probaly get away with housing an Jamacian Anole with them.

Not reccommended though, but I have had no problem mixing.

Leos or beardies in with a white lipped and a milk frog?

There's no way you can safely keep a beardie or leopard gecko with those tree frogs.
Not to sound harsh, but it would be wise to make sure the species you recommend are appropriate for the environment they'd be living in.

I think mixing reptiles is just wrong. I have enough trouble seing iguannas and chinese water dragons mixed in a petshop (or basilisks with iguannas. ). if you want to have a reptile. make it its proper habitat dont mix it with other species.

HUH?!?! Maybe you misunderstood, stunrb is looking for something to put in with frogs.... frogs come from wetlands, leopard geckos and beardies come from the desert..... they dont' mix!!!

anyways, I would fear for the saftey of both the lizard and frogs if you were to mix.
