She's not usually very crazy but last night she just had a way of moving. I could tell she was looking for something to chew on! :D

LOL! A bit of cool water poured on her head made her let go. ;)

Well, you got lucky! I know someone that recently lost their Cali King because it swallowed it's own tail mid shed! :(

That's nuts! Why do they do that? Is that common with snakes or just Cal Kings? I sure hope my hognoses don't try that, but then again they should be immune to their own toxins, right?

WHAT!?!? THATS INSANE!!! youd think shed be like "ouch! oh poop......thats my own self......" one time i put my snakes shed back in to see what he'd/she'd do. and he/she starting trying to get back INTO IT!! so i promptly took it away. enough fun for one day let e tell you. :D

its actually more common than you'd think, at least with cks. ive heard lots of stories about it, and i have one of my own. i put a pair together for breeding, and the female immediatly tried to eat the male. well, i separated them right away, and when i came back from putting the male back, she was latched onto herself and was actually attempting to constrict. a dash of cold water made her let go. i guess she just got into a kind of feeding frenzy.
