Can someone post pics (and include the dimensions) of their cages for adult boas? I'm not going to build a cage for my baby yet , but i want all the plans and everything worked out and ready to go a long time in advance.

Any recommendations, tips, advice, things to include?

sorry if this should be in the enclosure forum, but i thought i'd get more specific results here.

Thanks

Geoff

5x2x2 is the best. 4x2x2 is adequete and what I personally am using for my male right now.

My cage is extremely simple. 2 hides, a water dish, aspen shavings, and a stick for him to climb on. Its a melamine front sliding glass enclosure. I dont have pics, sorry.

It really depends on if it's male or female, I have had males full gorwn at 5 feet and I've housed them in 3x2 foot cages fine females will need a 4 or 5 foot cage. now if it's a b.c.c female you may even wanna give her a 6 foot cage cuz they can get around the 10 to 12 foot mark.

You can keep boas upto 8' in a 4'x2'x1' enclosure. Of course if it's for display purposes you can go bigger, but 4x2x1 is sufficient.
