All appears to be well
Oooohhhh PRETTY! Did you get to see it? I'm bitter because I missed my python shedding last night within 15 minutes. I knew he was close so I was checking him every 30 minutes or so. I looked, he was hiding. I turned around (sitting at my computer) again to check about 15 minutes later, and the brat shed.
And my other snakes ALWAYS does it while I'm sleeping. *sigh*
Whatever... *bitter* HOORAY FOR FIRST SHEDS! lol
Looks like a great shed too! Since this is your first snake though, I wanted to tell you not to forget to check both the snake and the shed for the eyecaps and tip of the tail. If the tailtip is still on the snake, it can cause lack of circulation which could lead to a dead tail... it will fall off and never grow back. The eyecaps aren't AS important (as they sometimes come off at the next shed), but it will restrict the vision and if it doesn't come off on the next shed, it can take a vet visit to GET them off (extreme case, but it happens), as well as possible blindness over time if not corrected. So you can see how important it is to make sure.
From the look of that picture though, she shed looks almost perfect. Congrats on that! ;)

I didn't get to see the whole shed, she is a very shy snake. I did inspect her shed, it was whole, I made sure I checked for the eye pieces, and the tip of the tale. It was also nicely wrapped around the stick in her home.
We also discoverd she is a night feeder. Meaning, she refused her food during the day, but it seems to have disappeared when it got dark.
thanks:)
